Section I is devoted to the notation in writing of certain vowel and consonant sounds, the use of the soft sign and apostrophe, the spelling of the letter combinations йо and ьо, alternation of vowels and consonants during word change and word formation, doubling and simplification of letters, spelling of prefixes and suffixes, features of writing words together, with a hyphen, and separately, rules for using capital letters, and more.
Section II covers the spelling of endings of declinable nouns, adjectives, numerals, pronouns, and verbs, as well as words of foreign origin, etc.
Section III introduces the features of using punctuation marks. The appendices contain conventional abbreviations and answers to the most complex exercises.
